Planning to attend one of the upcoming Levi’s® Stadium events? Santa Clara puts you close to the stadium, major airports, public transportation, hotels, restaurants, and local attractions.
Whether you are visiting for a San Francisco 49ers game, an international sporting event, or a sold-out concert, this guide covers the best ways to reach Levi's® 體育館 and plan your stay in Santa Clara.
Here is what you need to know before your visit.
Flying In? You Have Options.
The Bay Area is served by three major airports, and all three put Santa Clara within reach.
San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) is your best bet if you want to minimize transit time. It’s only about four miles from Levi’s® Stadium, meaning you could land, grab a ride share, and be checking into your hotel in under 20 minutes on a good day. For most visitors, this is the simplest, most stress-free arrival point.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) sits about 35 miles north of Santa Clara and offers a wide range of domestic and international flights. From SFO, you can rent a car, take a ride share down the Peninsula, or use BART and connect with Caltrain and VTA.
Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) is about 40 miles from Santa Clara and often offers competitive fares on domestic routes. Visitors can reach Santa Clara by rental car, ride share, or public transportation.

Skip the Traffic. Take the Train.
Traffic near Levi’s® Stadium can get busy before and after major events. Public transportation is often one of the easiest ways to reach the stadium.
的 Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail is the most direct option in the South Bay Area. Both the Green Line and Orange Line stop at the Great America Station, located right next to the stadium. VTA also connects to Downtown San Jose and several park and ride locations.
Coming from in San Francisco or along the Peninsula? 加州火車 runs between San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Ride it south to Mountain View Station, then transfer to the VTA Orange Line for the short trip to the stadium.
Coming from the East Bay? Take BART to Milpitas Station. From there, hop on the VTA Orange Line for a direct ride to Great America Station at Levi’s® Stadium.
Ride Share Is Your Friend.
Uber and Lyft operate widely throughout Santa Clara and the broader Bay Area. If you are lucky, you might even catch a ride in a self-driving Waymo, which has become a fun and very Silicon Valley way to get around.
For many fans, ride share will likely be the go to option for getting between hotels, restaurants, and the stadium. Levi’s® Stadium has designated ride share pickup and drop off areas to help traffic move smoothly after matches. Taxi services are also available at all major airports and hotels if you prefer a traditional ride.

Stay Close to the Action.
One of the smartest moves you can make for attending a live event is booking a hotel in Santa Clara. Several properties sit within walking distance or a short ride from both Levi’s® Stadium and the Santa Clara Convention Center, putting you right in the middle of the action.
Staying local means less time commuting and more time soaking in the atmosphere, plus easy access to the restaurants, bars, and experiences the city has to offer.
Driving, Parking, and TAILGATING
Levi’s® Stadium is accessible from Highway 101, Highway 237, and Interstate 880. Traffic can build quickly before and after major events, so plan to arrive early and allow extra time.
Drivers should also check their parking lot entrance before arrival, since the best route may depend on the assigned lot. Parking rules, lot access, and road closures vary by event. We recommend reviewing Levi’s® Stadium’s parking information before leaving.
Another option is to drive to your Santa Clara hotel, park there, and walk or use a ride share service for the final trip to the stadium.
Tailgating is permitted only in designated parking areas and for select sporting events. Guests should review Levi’s® Stadium policies and the event parking map before arriving.

Welcome to Santa Clara. Getting Here is Easy.
Some of the world’s biggest events come to Levi’s® Stadium, and Santa Clara is ready with three nearby airports, rail access to the stadium, major highways from every direction, and a city that knows how to host.
