Join artist Mei-Ying Dell’Aquila at the Triton Museum this upcoming Spring for another addition of our Afterschool Camp series.
For ages 6-12 only
Location: Linn Studio behind the Triton Museum of Art
In this 6-week session, take a creative journey around the world! Each week your child will explore art from a different country and become inspired by a renowned artist from that region. Come develop a sense of cultural storytelling through the use of different art media (including pencil, watercolors, pastels, acrylic paints, and mixed-media).
Students will:
- Learn how art and color can express emotions and imagination.
- Learn about cultural storytelling through art.
- Develop skills in color, texture, composition, and creative thinking.
- Look at patterns, repetition, and symbolism in contrast to realism.
