Visitors can spend the day enjoying rides like Gold Striker and RailBlazer, cool off at South Bay Shores, and end the night with a fireworks spectacular beginning at 9:40 p.m.
Upgrade Your Night with the Fourth of July BBQ
On July 4, guests can also purchase access to the All-You-Can-Eat Backyard BBQ experience at California’s Great America.
The special event includes BBQ favorites, cookout sides, desserts, beverages, and premium fireworks viewing access inside the Pavilion.
The BBQ experience is priced at $59.99 for adults and $39.99 for children ages 3-11, plus tax. Separate park admission is required.
Attend the City of Santa Clara Fourth of July Celebration
For a more traditional community celebration, the City of Santa Clara’s annual Fourth of July Community Celebration returns to Mission College.
The free event begins at 5 p.m. and features live entertainment, food vendors, family-friendly activities, and fireworks later in the evening. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
This year’s celebration includes live music from Pride & Joy SF, carnival games, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a variety of food trucks serving BBQ, tacos, lobster rolls, boba drinks, and desserts.
Fireworks from California’s Great America are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:35 p.m. and can best be viewed from the back of Mission College’s Central Plaza or Parking Lot A.
